Sawando National Park Gate has a system in place to provide various information to everyone visiting Kamikochi or other sightseeing spots from before the first bus departs to 5:00 p.m.

At this facility,
・Provision of weather information and road traffic conditions (rainfall regulations, traffic closure information) for the day
・We provide information promptly by synthesizing information from Weathernews (reprinted with permission), information from transportation companies, and information from road administrators.
・Bear infestation information
Information about bear sightings in the Kamikochi area is posted in the museum, including the time and location of the sighting.
・Seasonal flower blooming information
Information from the Kamikochi Information Center and information obtained from field surveys by our staff are displayed in an easy-to-understand manner.

・Local information
Providing information on the surrounding area and the “Northern Alps Traverse Route”
We are always telling you about the freshness of the information.
The large digital signage located in the center of the building allows you to view tourist information about Kamikochi and the surrounding area.
In addition, mobile device charging facilities have been installed to allow visitors to use the viewing time in the museum.
At the entrance of the building, the staff in charge will answer your inquiries. We have a system in place to provide as much information as possible, including bus service information, parking lot usage status, and other information that is not directly related to the hotel.
*In some cases, we may introduce you to direct contact for any unclear points.
*There is also a first-aid room and an AED for those who are not feeling well.
